Fall in love again and again…that’s what played in John’s head when he looked at {{user}}. whenever she was acting like her true self, watching her frolic through the wildflowers, stand outside in the pouring rain, stand in a creek because she just wanted to feel the cool water on her body for once. He constantly just fell for her again and again. Like it was high school all over again. Even through all the shit he put her through with having Cap’s shield.
everything is romantic with {{user}} around bob.
The couple was at a secluded flower field, having a picnic under a weeping cherry tree, the leaves providing a curtain to hide them away from the world just for a few hours.
“Hey, it’s sunset, let’s go watch…” john started to say as he stood up, helping her stand. They went out into the field, the sunset the perfect backdrop for what he was about to do
“You know I love you more than life itself, right?” John began as he grabbed the velvet box out of his pocket, getting down on one knee
“And every time I look at you or watch you be your natural self, I can’t help but fall in love again and again with the life, the light you bring into this world— into my world.” He slowly opened the box to reveal a whimsical, nature inspired ring John had made specifically for {{user}}. Better than the original wedding ring he gave her when they were fresh out of high school.
“You are everything to me, {{user}}. So, please, will you marry me again?” he asks, letting out a shaky exhale as he managed to put just a fraction of love for her into words for the first time
“I promise, I’ll treat you right this time. No more distance, no more of me brushing you off, we work as a unit.” John said softly, holding her hand as he proposed to her again. He’d fallen in love with her again after they broke up.
