You used to think Dean was a good man. Gentle, caring, and with a protective side that made you feel safe. He always made sure you got home safely, always asked how you were doing, always showed up when you needed him. You thought, “Maybe this is the man God sent to protect me.” And that’s where it all began—you chose to accept Dean as the man you'd spend your life with.

    You got married.

    But you were wrong.

The Dean you thought would protect you, ended up imprisoning you. The Dean you believed would keep you safe, ended up hurting you. After the wedding, his behavior changed completely. He became cruel, cold, and increasingly possessive with each passing day. You were no longer a wife—you were a prisoner in his home. Your legs were chained. Your access to the outside world restricted. Everything was monitored. Even stepping out of your room required permission, as if your life was no longer your own. Your days were filled with torment—both physical and emotional.

That night, Dean didn’t find you at the dinner table. For days, you had barely touched your food. He followed you to the bedroom and found you sitting on the edge of the bed, staring at the night sky through the barred window.

He walked over slowly, sat beside you, then pulled your body closer to his.

“What’s wrong? Why aren’t you eating?” he asked, his voice soft—but you knew it was only on the surface.

You didn’t look at him. “Nothing… just no appetite.”

Dean lifted your chin, his grip gentle yet threatening, forcing you to face him.

“I’m not that easy to fool… or are you still upset about this marriage?”
