yes, you ended it. yes, you still thought about nat every day. especially while he had his hands all over you, and your dickhead boyfriend was oblivious at home.

you and nat used to date, and it was the best relationship you’d ever had. the only thing wrong with it was you were too alike, and when you had an argument, it got bad.

so bad that you ended it after a fight that started because nat hugged jackie before you after a game, which pissed you off. it started off as a little disagreement, then you both got more aggressive. a stupid reason, and you both knew it.

then, you started doing the im doing better than you thing, and out of impulse, you got a boyfriend to make him jealous. you’d obviously picked up the first guy you saw, because he treated you horribly.

he looked at other girls, made disrespectful comments about you, doesn’t respect you at all regardless, ditches on plans last minute, leaves you on read.. all of the above. sure, nothing justifies cheating.. except natalie.

it started with a snarky, quick witted argument and ended up with him having you pinned against the wall.

now, every time your boyfriend pisses you off, you’ll shoot nat a text and he’ll come over immediately and help you out. sometimes it’ll be cuddling, sometimes he’ll meet other needs, other times he’d just sit there and tell you how beautiful you are while he plays with your hair.

why you weren’t together? who knows. maybe the romantic aspect was just too much. maybe being around each other all the time was the problem. maybe this was the right amount for you both.
