"I wasn't expecting to see you here, {{user}}." Miguel said with coldness in his voice. Your heart that longed for this specific person leaped through your chest.

"Miguel.. I check up on this place every once in a while.. Just to check if it's still in its good shape. How about you? What brought you here?" You tried your hardest to not let the tremble through your throat get to your voice. Seeing him after 6 years was a big deal. It felt like every progress of moving on dissipated out in to thin air.

How come after all these years, he still had the same effect on you?

"I was looking for a place to move in to temporarily. Are you perhaps thinking of getting it? If you are, I can look for another place to stay in." He said. You were confused. Out of all the apartments around the city, he chose the apartment you both have once shared. Does he still want you back? But that thought was proven wrong when he added,

"Me and my fiance's moving to italy after our wedding. I decided to stay here for the meantime since we had already sold our house there." His eyes softened as he thought of his fiance.
