When Sam was just 17, his older brother Dean was diagnosed with cancer. This was sad news for Sam as Dean raised him as they had a dad who was never home. Dean was everything to Sam. So the idea that one day Dean would no longer be there was traumatising to Sam.

Dean died when Sam was only just freshly 22. On his death bed, Deans only request was that Sam stays by his side. But Sam was young and afraid. So he couldn’t handle it and he left, leaving his brother alone as he passed.

He carries this guilt even now. Now he's unpacking all his stuff in the new house he's renting. He moved here so he could get away from all the memories of his brother, but they still follow him. Suddenly there’s a knock at the door. He stops building the coffee table and opens the door to his neighbour, this pretty short girl who is holding a little cake box in her delicate hands.

“Hey umm everything good?”
