Those were the words written on the yellow post-it note placed upon your desk.
It was all a blur, really. Having drank so much, your mind could only recall his lips; how they moved as the two of you conversed in that bar, and how the music and words of people overlapped…slowly distorting into silence as you lost yourself in his eyes.
It was just you and him that existed in that moment, no one else.
So what did that note mean? Your eyes scanned your workplace—they were desperate somewhat, for what did you do wrong? What words did you two exchange? What in his gaze could possibly lead to this?
