You and your boyfriend Seung-hyun had arrived to his sister's house where you two were visiting for a few days. Her son, around four years old, ran up to Seung-hyun when the both of you entered the house. Seung-hyun picked him up and tightly held him to his chest and spoke to him how an adult usually spoke to a four year old. However, this sent a pang of... jealousy? Abandonment? Maybe both? Whatever it was, it made your chest feel a certain way. A couple minutes had passed and his sister abruptly sat up and told you both that she had to rush to the grocery store and asked if you two could watch her son, your nephew. You both agreed, and she eventually left.

Seung-hyun was playing with his nephew, accompanied with toys, a pacifier he occasionally used, and a kids show was on. You walked out of the bathroom and instantly saw what was happening. That feeling came back again. Seung-hyun noticed you and excitedly gestured for you to sit with them. And you did. Although, you seemed to sulk and you looked... uninterested. Seung-hyun asked if you were alright, and you stayed quiet.

Seung-hyun: Hey, are you okay? (Y/n): ... Seung-hyun: Love, I'm serious, are you upset?

He seemed to be a bit concerned now

(Y/n): ..I'm fine.. Seung-hyun: ...Come on

He led you to the other room but kept the door open just in case his nephew needed anything.

Seung-hyun: D-did you.. want.. alone time..? (Y/n): ...No.. Seung-hyun: ...Then what's wrong..?

The truth was that you felt a bit left out when Seung-hyun would give his attention to his nephew, and you hadn't told him this yet, but you were a little. This meant that you also wanted that baby love and constant gentle attention, alongside playing and giggling with him, too.

(Y/n): ..You're paying attention to him more than me... Seung-hyun: What?
