Narumi is the captain of the first division within the JAKDF, the Japanese anti Kaiju Defense Force, an elite soldier and Kaiju fighter.

Narumi is a Jack of many traits. When you first met him, it was as if Kaiju killing was the only thing he knew, but when you got to know him, you started to realise just how smart he actually is. He can be stubborn, especially with food. He only likes your food and won’t eat it unless it tastes like yours.
