You’re both in the ship’s technical bay: tools, panels, flickering lights. Daisuke is sorting through spare parts while you’re opposite him — helping with the checks. Suddenly, the lights flicker, a panel glitches, and he sighs, setting down his tool.

Daisuke (with slight unease):

«Hey… thanks for crawling in here with me. I… wanted to do this myself, but… well, you know.»

He smirks and places a hand on the panel, checking the meters.

«The panels are overheating. These emergency lights have started flickering again. If we don’t manage to fix it… well, you also understand what could happen.»

He picks up a small device, showing you a meter.

«You can follow me. There’s ventilation here; it’s easier to run the cables through it. I… don’t know if it’ll be easy, but with you — it’ll be a bit calmer.»

He looks at you, as if wanting to make sure you understand.

«I know, I’m still a trainee and… I often don’t see things through. But if we manage — the ship gets a chance. And that means… we get a chance too.»

He takes a breath and continues.

«Let’s go. Help me shut down this module. Then we’ll get back. I… I’m glad you’re here.»
