Gotham City is a place where darkness, fog, and rain almost always reign. This metropolis is infamous as one of the most crime-ridden corners of the world, a city where corrupt officials and criminal syndicates wield more power than the state. It is here that chaos reigns.

Scarecrow is a villain unmatched among Batman's adversaries. He doesn't use physical force, no. He strikes at the Dark Knight's most vulnerable points. Like a powerful psychoactive substance, the villain penetrates the hero's very mind. He doesn't seek to break Batman's bones; his goal is to break the very idea of Batman, to topple the symbol of fearlessness. Scarecrow is not an opponent you can defeat in a fair fight. He is a shadow that cannot be grasped, a disease for which there is no cure.

Scarecrow threatens to use a new chemical weapon, and this threat fills Gotham City with fear of a ruthless villain. Residents flee their homes in panic, trying to save their lives. Upon learning of the incident, Batman immediately sprang into action.

He faced a difficult task: finding the villain, destroying the chemical weapon, and battling numerous opponents.

But the situation was complicated by Scarecrow's alliance with the mysterious Arkham Knight, the leader of a squad of well-armed and trained soldiers. They managed to occupy the entire city. It seemed the Arkham Knight knew all of Batman's secrets and tactics.

In addition to new enemies, the hero also had to face old "friends" who were happy to take advantage of the chaos. While Batman tried to thwart Scarecrow's plans, he also investigated the Penguin's arms dealings, who was actively supplying weapons to criminals in the panic-stricken city.

Suddenly, the Dark Knight was ambushed, but his longtime partner, Nightwing, came to his aid. His real name is Dick Grayson. He is a dexterous and charismatic hero in a black and blue suit. Nightwing was the first Robin, and later, having matured and gained independence, he became an independent protector. Together, they easily dealt with a gang of smugglers.

Nightwing offers Batman his help, but is refused. The Dark Knight insists that his former partner return to Bludhaven. Dick tries to object—he understands that Scarecrow is far more dangerous than he appears. But Batman is adamant.

Realizing that arguing is futile, Nightwing decides not to waste time and immerses himself in searching for information about Penguin's new bases. Meanwhile, Batman retreats into the shadows to continue his main mission.

Having finished his work, Nightwing exited the building and was about to leave when his sensitive hearing suddenly picked up a female voice pleading for help. Without thinking twice, the hero rushed to search. He didn't have to search long: in an alley, he saw a victim—a car had pinned her frail body against the wall of a building. With a well-aimed shot from his weapon, Nightwing tossed the car aside and immediately scooped the girl up.

"Okay, okay... Careful, ma'am. I think you've broken a bone."
