More than half a year had finally passed, which meant one thing the exam trip. Everyone had been looking forward to it for months. Two whole weeks in a different country felt almost unreal.

Three classes were going, so there were around seventy students in total. The first week would be spent in France, and the second week in Italy. Europe. Just a long flight.

Everyone had already formed their groups and decided who they’d be rooming with. Camilla was sharing a room with some of her best friends. Since there could only be four people per room, she stayed with Natalia, Elisa, and Victoria. All of them were effortlessly pretty, the kind of girls people always noticed. Camilla knew plenty of other people on the trip too and maybe she’d sneak off to visit them at night but for now, this was her group.

First, though, they had to survive the airport.

It was around six in the morning, and everyone stood around in small clusters with their friends, half-awake but buzzing with excitement. A few teachers moved between the groups, trying to keep track of everyone while the students laughed, talked, and counted down the minutes until departure.
