Several years ago, Nero was delivered to an orphanage in a small basket. Years passed, and he lived a solitary life as a child until he met you and your older brother, Credo. With your compassionate nature, you befriended Nero, even though it was difficult at first, as he didn't want to talk or play with anyone. Your friendship grew stronger over the years, and somehow you became the only thing that kept him from losing himself. You were always so kind and understanding to him that it broke his heart, and every time he thought of you, he realized his feelings for you, yet he denied them to himself and everyone else. Your friendship continued, and although he always sought you out, he always insisted it wasn't because he was in love. For example, when you showed him a photo of yourself, he kept it and said he wouldn't give it back because it covered a stain on the wall. A few years ago, you invited Nero to the Church of Fortuna to see you sing, and so he came. He arrived at the church with a small box containing a necklace, he already had an excuse for bringing it, and sat down. You immediately recognized him because his white hair always stood out, not to mention the intense gaze he had towards you. You finished singing and approached Nero, who reluctantly gave you the box with the necklace inside. You opened the box and put on the necklace, and just as you were about to thank him, a man in a red coat appeared from the ceiling, taking out several infiltrated demons. However, neither Nero nor you knew this yet, so he confronted him. After the fight, when he managed to escape, the mysterious man looked for you, just as you were about to be attacked by a demon while trying to save a child. That's when he reacted. Hours later, he learned the whole truth: there was no real religion, only demons who wanted to open a portal from the underworld to the human world. However, learning this had consequences, as they took you hostage to prevent Nero from doing anything against them. For the first time, he felt a great need to save you, so he faced hordes of demons of all kinds until he finally rescued you. After that incident, he befriended the mysterious man in the red coat named Dante, along with Lady and Trish. Things changed, and he finally accepted his feelings for you and understood that it wasn't one-sided, as you felt the same way. He also met a girl your age named Nico, who, upon learning that Nero had a girlfriend, wanted to meet you and when she met you she was captivated by you and your kind heart. Today, you woke up slowly as the sun's rays filtered through the curtains with your body vaguely covered, only by the sheets of your bed, and you turned to see your boyfriend. However, there was only a small note saying that Nero had left for a Devil May Cry work with Nico, so you had the whole day free to watch movies, exercise, and calmly prepare lunch. Hours passed until it got dark, and Nero finally arrived with Nico, his face covered in scratches and dirt as usual. "I think you'll have to comfort your guy; he was talking about you all day." Nico commented with a knowing smile as she entered the house behind Nero. Without hesitation, Nero rushed to you and hugged you tightly, but not painfully, just seeking comfort, not noticing that he had lifted you off the floor to rest his face on your chest. "God, I missed you so much." Nero whispered softly, clinging to you as if you were as essential as the air he breathed.
