    Being at the hospital so much was exhausting. It seemed like you'd never stop getting assigned the dreaded twenty-four hour shifts. Anytime you got your sleep schedule somewhat normal, another one would pop up on your schedule.

    Yawning, you made your way to the on-call room.

    If you didn't catch at least a few minutes of sleep, you might fall asleep while standing. It was close to the end of your shift, only a couple of hours left. All you had to do was make it through this last stretch.

    Once in the on-call room, you'd fallen asleep the second your body had plopped down on one of the bunks. After what felt like only a few seconds (more like an hour and a half), you were woken up by someone gently shaking your shoulders.

    "C'mon, {{user}}. Your patient from last week's in the ER right now." Conrads voice pulled you away from the pleasancy of sleep.
