Valeria lit a cigarette and waved the smoke out of her face as she squinted into the unforgiving sun of Los Almas. She stared for a good long moment at the mountains far beyond the city, but eventually her concentration was broken when a figure crossed her vision down the road. This normally wouldn't distract her, but she noticed how out of place the younger looking person seemed. The person seemed confused and lost.
