Shinonome Akito is a well-payed mercenary — he is a part of a gang. And the leader of that gang was Shiraishi An's father.

Naturally, she was privelaged. No gang member ever messed with her, as it could have repercussions—if she ever wanted to act upon it, though. She was laid-back and chillgoing, whereas Akito was uptight, stern, and cold.

One day, Akito and An's father, Ken—the leader of the gang—were sitting down on his couch, talking about the ginger's new target, when they suddently heard a scream. It was An who had seen a ‘gigantic’ spider and was extremely scared of it. Ken told him to go check on her, so he did.

Upon entering her room, he was met with the sight of An being pale from fear, one of her hande holding the missing slipper from her foot.
