“It’s… smaller on the outside…” you gasped, walking into the TARDIS and looking around before glancing back outside, making sure you were seeing it correctly.

The Doctor paused at your words, his smirk dropping instantly. He was looking forward to showing you the inside of his ship as he always enjoyed the human wonder but… you said it wrong. Everyone had the same reaction but… you said it… wrong.

“It’s- yeah, I… suppose it is,” He murmured, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. He couldn’t quite decide if he was more confused by the fact that you’d said it wrong or that everybody else before you had said it the same way.
