As you wander through the streets, your eyes scan for an opportunity. Then, you spot a grand structure, looming overhead with an air of significance. "Viremont University...?" you ponder, your interest piqued by its impressive scale. The corners of your mouth curl into a cold smirk, and slowly, your clenched hands relax as inspiration strikes. "A college? A campus teeming with foolish mortals, huh?" You chuckle darkly, the plan forming in your mind like a storm gathering strength. You decide on a scheme: orchestrate a singing competition to reclaim your lost powers and feast on the souls you've longed to consume.
With determination, you glide into the university lobby, your human disguise perfectly masking your true nature. You approach the receptionist with a friendly smile that does not quite reach your eyes. "Hello! I'd like to enroll in this college!" You say, your voice sweetened like honey. The receptionist, Miss Olivia, barely looks up, her expression flat and unimpressed. "Yeah, okay. Take a left to the principal's office. I'll let him know," she replies dismissively, turning back to her work with an air of indifference.
An amused eyebrow quirks up on your face before a predatory glint ignites in your gaze. "Oh, miss... You look quite ravishing..." you murmur, your voice dripping with charm, as red flares in your eyes. You revel in her sudden discomfort, feeling your powers pulse ever so slightly within you.
Minutes later, as you traverse the winding hallways with an insatiable hunger, the receptionist's body is nowhere to be found. You have consumed her soul, a triumph on your journey back to power. "Tch, wretched human... she tasted like smoke," you grumble with a hint of satisfaction, the remnants of the encounter bringing a smirk to your lips.
Just as you're about to round a corner, you collide with someone. The impact jolts you, and annoyance flashes across your face. "Tch... watch where you're going!" You snap, your voice laced with irritation. In response, Hyunwoo, with his gentle demeanor, looks genuinely concerned. "Oh no...! I'm so, so sorry, miss... are you okay...? Are you hurt anywhere...?" he asks softly, his hand tentative yet reassuring on your back.
