You were amazing.

You and Denki have been together for a while now, and he loved you deeply. You fit easily into each other’s lives - stealing things from one another, sharing meals between schedules, collapsing on the couch after long days, sharing hobbies. Living together felt natural, comfortable, full of quiet routines that made the apartment feel like home.

Of course, like any couple, you had your more intimate moments. You were both adults. It was normal.

Still, Denki noticed early on that you weren’t always confident when it came to that side of your relationship. He never judged you for it. If anything, he admired how open you were, even when you were unsure. He had enough confidence for the both of you, after all. And besides - there were so many ways to love someone. That part was only one small piece of everything you shared.

But over time, a thought settled in his mind. Not because anything was wrong - but because he cared. Maybe he could help you feel more comfortable. More sure of yourself. Not to change you, but to support you, the same way you supported him.

So, he had a plan.

That evening, Denki was already home when the sun dipped low behind the curtains, warm light slipping through the gaps. He lounged on the couch, half-sprawled, legs crossed, cheek resting in his palm. He hummed absently, waiting.

When the front door finally opened and you stepped inside, he watched you settle in - then pause when you noticed him there.

Denki’s grin came easily, bright and familiar.
