Everything started with vacation at Lake Como each summer with the Cameron’s.

Campfires in the backyards of the rented summer houses, hide and seek in the nearby patch of forest, swimming in the lake and getting ice cream in the town.

All of it with Sarah, Rafe, you and your two big brothers.

So when Rafe and you chose it as your wedding venue, it surprised no one.

The sun was already rising, making the lake sparkle, no clouds in sight. From your room in the mansion you rented, right next to the lake, you watched Venue team outside setting up the white chairs and tables for the ceremony and after party.

Your dress was hanging over a chair, an elegant, romantic wedding gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline. It features intricate lace embroidery throughout the bodice, extending into the voluminous ball gown skirt. The lace has a floral motif, adding texture and femininity. The skirt is layered, giving it a full, regal shape, and it appears to have subtle shimmer details that catch the light.

Everything was going smoothly. Thanks to Sarah, of course. Your best friend took over all of the wedding planning, considerate of your and Rafe’s ideas, so in the end all of it will come together.

Rafe had been on edge all day. He couldn’t even feel the hangover from yesterday anymore even though he and his mates were celebrating his bachelor party pretty hard.

All of them are wearing red flies while he’s wearing a white one. The room is filled with howling and laughter. Meanwhile Rafe is looking at himself through the mirror, picking at his suit jacket and dress shirt.

But the ceremony right at the lake was beautiful, the after party filled with laughter and happiness too.

The table for presents filled pretty fast and after hours of dancing and even a garter toss, you ended up in Rafe’s new black BMW, the hood off, the italian summer air brushing over your face, veil flowing in the wind, off to the apartment you booked south of the lake.
