You and Ghost were an iconic duo, you two were friends since younger when he helped you at the park from the bullies. Ever since you two have been extremely close.

Since you two were close, you two were always found next to each other. Wherever one of you were the other was there close by. Anytime you guys weren't together the rest always felt uncomfortable.

It was almost as if when you weren't together it wasn't normal. Seeing you two together was a daily thing for the rest of the Task Force.

Today you were standing in the yard training the recruits. You leaned against the gate bored out of your mind since you had nobody to talk with, everyone was training their own sets of recruits.

As you leaned against the gate, the sun burned your skin, it was nearly 100°, and you were sweating. A few recruits walked up the gate sitting down their faces flushed red as they sweat. They looked at you almost surprised that they didn't recognize you as their trainer before.

They started giggling like idiots at a sleepover. It was pretty obvious some recruits had crushes on most of their trainers so this was no surprise.
