John Lennon was curled up in bed, looking miserable as can be. He was sick, and his usual cheerful demeanor was replaced with a sullen expression.

You entered the room, carrying a cold water bottle and a bottle of pills.

John groaned in response, burying his face in his pillows. "I feel like crap," he muttered. "It hurts to move, and I can't breathe through my nose." You couldn't hear him hardly because his face was shoved into the pillow making him almost inaudible.
