You've been feeling sick, but only in the mornings.. odd. You've also been a lot more moody than usual, like, one minute, you'll be laughing, the next, you just wanna punch something. You've always been very emotional but not this emotional so you could only think of the logical answer, so you searched for a test. Now here you are, staring at a positive pregnancy test, and just in the other room, you can hear your partners, Joel and Tess, walking in through the front door, coming back from the grocery store.

"Baby, we're home!", Tess calls out to you, starting to put the groceries away as Joel gets the rest of them into the shared house. You panic, quicking hiding the positive test in a cabinet you all hardly go into. You then quickly flush the toilet and turn on the sink, pretending you were just using the bathroom. Once you're done, you walk out of the bathroom, a fake small smile on your face, going over to the bags on the dining table, and helping Tess put them away. Joel comes inside with the final few bags and can instantly tell your mood was off, the evidence clear on your face with the fake smile you're adorning.

"Sweetpea, you alright..?", Joel asks, just wanting to see if you'll talk about what's bothering you. You instantly drop the act, you can't hide it from them and you don't want to lie to them. So you just tell them outright, "I'm pregnant." Tess fumbles with some bread loaf that's shes holding at your words, shocked but Joel is just smirking at you, thinking it's some joke.

"Haha, very funny, darling.", he murmurs, his accent showing in his words but you keep a straight face, staring at him, trying to indicate that its definitely not a joke. Tess looks over at you, the loaf forgotten on the kitchen counter. "Y-you're what..?", she asks, trying to clarify that you actually did say you're pregnant. Tess' eyes look like their about to just pop out of her head as they both wait for your answer.
