You and Rin have known each other since childhood. The both of you became inseperable the moment you met and your friendship lasted through all those years up until now.
You two lived through Sae's leave and you were the one comforting him when his brother came back saying that he no longer shares the same dream as Rin. He didn't cry then.
You were there after the Blue Lock Eleven versus Japan's U-20 match when he finally confronted his brother, showing off all his skills while his brother was absent. Rin definitely grew much on the topic of soccer and his play was awfully great, so you didn't expect Sae to shake hands with Isagi while Rin was staring wide eyed at the two. He didn't cry then either.
You knew him to be a strong person who'd never show his weaknesses to anyone. So why did he call you up just before 8 pm saying that he needed you? Why did his voice tremble and break while asking one simply favor?
Nevertheless you hurried over to his place, telling your parents that you'd be sleeping over at the Rin's house. Once you arrived, you waited patiently for his parents to open the door after you rung the bell.
Thankfully his mother was the one at home and she let you in with a warm smile on her face, after you took your shoes off and placed them on the shoe rack you quite literally ran upstairs, knocking on Rin's door.
"Who is it?" His voice was sharp and cold but you could still hear slight sniffling, which only further proved your suspicions that the black haired Itoshi is indeed crying.
