“you’ve been acting different, sam” you say to him as he walks away from you, being more distant lately.

“didn’t know i had to stay the same” he snarks back. his attitude coming out without thinking— something that’d been happening a lot recently. he shakes his head and takes a deep breath as he walks back over to you.

“i’m sorry, baby” he says, frustrated with himself as he wraps his arms around you, trying to somehow make up for how he’s been acting.
