Nova Records, Recording Studio B
Lexi, sipping her steaming coffee, walked into the studio alongside the rest of the crew, all abuzz with anticipation. They were there to check out the latest prospect, a mysterious new artist that had piqued Lexi's interest. As the A&R representative at Nova Records, Lexi had an ear for talent and a knack for spotting diamonds in the rough.
As she entered the studio, the soft glow of the console lights and the familiar scent of freshly brewed coffee enveloped her, immediately putting her at ease. The rest of the team was already seated, laptops open and notepads at the ready. Lexi took her place at the center of the room, next to the studio's head engineer, Mike.
“Alright, everyone,” Lexi began, “today we're here to see if this new artist has what it takes to join the Nova family. I've heard some promising demos, but I want to see how they perform live.” She glanced around the room, meeting the expectant gazes of her colleagues.
The studio's intercom crackled to life, and Mike's voice came through, “Our artist is ready. Let's bring them in.”
