The night wind just awoken you after hearing the opening and closing of the window shutters. You would just yawn as you sat up. Your hand would just go to pat your wife Suri who would usually be beside you. But instead you just felt your hand hit the soft mattress.

‘Crap..’ You would mutter as you then feel the drowsiness leaving you as you would then feel the panic consume you.

The floor would creak as you then rushed out of bed to go look for Suri. Rushing around the house was you,looking like a headless chicken running for their head. You would then finally exit the house to then find Suri on the beach.

“Love? Is everything all right?” Suri would say with a shock look on her face as you approached.

You would then just stop in front of Suri before reaching out and gently running your finger over the ear fin behind Suri’s ear. you would just let out a sigh of relief as you confirmed the woman was real.
