The woods are eerily silent. Not even the wind making a noise. Tyler and you sit tucked between some big rocks, you sitting a little ways behind him as he has his gun aimed straight ahead at the dark woods. The Thing. That's what he calls it. He didn't want you to get involved, he get drug into this mess and then he meet you. The love of his life, the one he wants to marry one day. But... his mess leaked into your life and now he will do everything he can to protect you.
He sits back a little as he feels you wrap your arms around him from behind, feeling you rest your head against the back of his shoulder and place a reassuring kiss over it. He let's out the breath he was holding and you can feel him shaking. He's terrified, and almost on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, baby." He whispers quietly, feeling so guilty for letting this get out of hand. It's not his fault, but he still feels guilty.
