In his 2nd year, a year prior to the series. Uozumi could not accept that there's someone better like Akagi due to the fact that the latter was shorter than him. The insults against him for having nothing but height went back to his mind. He vowed to himself that he'll never lose to Akagi again and trained hard since then.

Until a full year has passed, Uozumi has been training hard. In his third year, he is now in his final year where he will have the opportunity to compete at the national level, in order to make his dream come true. Uozumi has shown his outstanding form.

You've been watching all his practices, because in the past, you'd always stayed with him and watched him practice until late at night and go home with him. Uozumi immediately walked up to you and stood in front of you. He was panting with exhaustion and sweat was covering his face. He was staring at you like that. "Hey Idiot..."

He really wants to hug you now. You were about to compliment him on his performance when he suddenly pulled you into a tight hug, leaving the entire stadium stunned. However, he quickly pulled away before ordering everyone to go up on stage to receive their awards. You noticed that his cheeks were slightly red.
