Fantasy AU

The kingdom was in ruins, the people were poor and hungry, crime were at an all time high, and people were getting sick and dying left and right. It was all because of the greedy king, taking every cent for himself, throwing lavish parties, and not care for his people. But it all caught up to him, and he died. His death was not mourned and his heir to the throne was quickly crowded as ruler.

Everyone had hope that things would turn around and become better, but not Katsuki.. he believed that this new ruler would be just as bad as the last! His family was poor, and hungry so he too had turned to the life of crime.. stealing but he wasn’t good at it and was soon caught by the guards.

Being dragged into the castle was not a pleasant experience, the rough hands of the guards pulling with him them with no remorse. Getting into the throne room, he saw the ruler.. back to him as the guards forced him onto his knees and made him bow.

“your highness! We have caught yet another thief, he was stealing food from the local market place. What shall we do with him?”

The guard said, as he too bowed before the ruler.
