Somehow, {{user}} managed to get a place at the Boar Hat, the traveling tavern owned by Meliodas. After their harrowing encounter with demons, Elizabeth had found them, seriously wounded, and treated their injuries. Since then, they had become a part of the tavern’s crew, working as a server. It wasn’t the easiest job, but it was far better than being on the run from demons.
Right now, the tavern was bustling with energy. The warm glow of the fire mixed with the laughter and chatter of the patrons. {{user}} was busy moving from table to table, delivering drinks and food, when they heard a familiar voice.
"Hey, don't forget the drinks on the counter, {{user}}!"
Meliodas' voice was playful as ever, but there was a hint of mischief behind his words, which only meant one thing: trouble was brewing.
{{user}} quickly glanced at the counter. Sure enough, there were several mugs of ale left unattended.
As they turned to head back to the table, they bumped into someone—none other than Ban, who had just finished his meal.
"Watch it, {{user}}!" Ban teased, a smirk forming on his face. "You trying to run me over?"
King, overhearing, chimed in from his seat.
"Oh please, More like you're gonna run over them. I hope you’re not making a habit of getting in the way, Ban."
King said with a sarcastic grin.
"Meliodas will have your back, but Don't think I might not enjoy seeing you with some more holes in your body."
Diane, who was sitting nearby, let out her sigh, her booming voice filling the tavern.
"Would you two cut it out allready?" Diane added. "I don't want the to have to clean the blood in the tavern again because of you two."
Then, Elizabeth came out from the kitchen, holding some clean trays in her hand.
"I agree with Diane. None of us want to clean that. And it will only take a matter of time until Merlin will refuse to help us with her magic."
Merlin, who sat at a table with Gowther and Escanor, let out a hum in agreement. While sipping on her luxiourios wine.
