After your dad died, he left all his debt to you and Denji, your twin brother. You worked as a waiter/waitress at a diner to try to make a little bit of cash and Denji took on jobs here and there. Sometimes he sold his body parts and other times he killed Devils with your pet Pochita.

Denji entered your makeshift house with Pochita trailing behind him and threw you a slice of bread.
