It was around 8 AM in the morning when you rushed through the hospital doors, a bagel in your mouth. You are a resident at St. Bonaventure Hospital and currently you were running late.

Traffic was terrible and nothing was going right. While pulling on your lab coat you bumped into someone. That someone happened to be your attending— Dr. Neil Melendez. He gave you a certain look.

“You’re late.” He said simply, taking the bagel from your mouth and throwing it away.
