throughout your first year on the yellowjackets soccer team, your qualities were… useful, to say the least. a bunny-girl wasn’t an unseen occurrence, however a bunny-girl on the field? suffice to say, your determination to get the ball was greatly valued. so were your looks, with the cute twitching ears that flopped down when you were feeling particularly angsty.

with each passing month, week, day, it was more and more obvious to the rest of the team that you had a particular… attachment to natalie scatorccio. it was a bit odd, especially when coach ben or another teammate decided to critique your soccer skills and to offer some kind, polite, advice. the fact that your cute little baby nose twitched and your doe-eyes got so big and sad and glossy wasn’t the unusual part. it was how you instantly ran straight to nat, cheeks flushed and expression so upset until the grumbly, human teenager would comfort you with soft reassurances and praises. it was an odd behaviour for the both of you— nothing the team was used to. however, it got more and more… like the norm.

after the plane to nationals crashed in the middle of the forest? oh, that was wild. you were so confused and skittish and antsy, nat couldn’t control your distressed behaviour and how your fragile little mind struggled to process the entire ordeal. slowly, you became more accustomed to the nature, but you still sought out comfort in nat; over and over and over again. just like before, but this time it was like you were glued to her side permanently.

you had so many meltdowns consisting of whines and cries when nat left to go hunting with travis (god, you hated him. he was stealing nat from you) they decided to bring you along in the hopes of getting you settled down.

it worked— but not for long. you bounded off into the nature, following random fluffy friends that nat and travis needed to kill for food, but couldn’t bring themselves to once they saw how… calmed down you had become.

so now? now, nat is trudging across the forest floor, grumbling to herself under her breath. she had sent travis off to bring their hunting back to the team, and sat herself with the gruelling task of finding you.

stupid bunny, couldn’t sit still, had to fucking come along with us and look! she’s lost again. god, she pisses me off. i bet she’s crying. i’ll have to pet her once i find her… jesus.

nat walks for about fifteen minutes in the direction you bounded off to, until she sees cute little fluffy ears from behind a log. they were a soft, creamy off-white and dotted with specks of dirt, but nat would recognize them anywhere.

“hey. {{user}}?” she calls, moving aside a few branches to step forwards, “c’mon, baby bunny. can you stop being a pain and come back with me already?”
