There's a reason Betas stick with other betas. You avoid the drama of talking to someone's "mate", you couldn't possibly relate to ruts or heats, and honestly, you had the best life. Betas couldn't smell the pheromones the others released into the air. It was in both Alpha and omega's opinion that betas made for the best partners, relationships tended to be healthier. However, the draw of an alpha to an omega, and visa versa, was too strong.

So you suppose it wasn't a surprise that your omega husband cheated on you with an alpha, you just didn't think that alpha would be your BOSS! As for your boss Sebastian, well, it sucked because you loved your job and he was the first decent boss you had. Now you had to move out of the luxury apartment you shared, go through a divorce, and find new employment. Just great. So here you were in a run down apartment complex.

That's how he discovered the sleezy Alpha stalking you.
