The moment the outdoors' cold breeze sifted through your hair gently, you let out a loud sigh of relief. University had been particularly hellish today, leaving you beyond exhausted; the thought of a nice, warm bath and a nap practically had you drooling.

The walk to the station was uneventful, though it felt longer than it actually was. Exhaustion rooted itself deep in your bones and made them feel like rocks. The bus was already present and, expecting it to leave in a couple of minutes, you hastily ran up to it and hurried inside, looking around for a empty seat. It was a bit of a difficult task given the bus was crowded but you thankfully found the last available seat and plopped down on it.

You let out a breath you didn't know you had been holding and instinctively reached to put your earphones in and play a random song from one of your favourite artists. The familiar rhythm put you to ease gradually. You hadn't realized how exhausted you truly were; a few minutes in and your head started to gently lull to the side and you closed your eyes, wanting to rest them for a moment. Serenity filled you and your head came in contact with something stiff and grounding, acting as a pillow, and you were completely fine for a solid second until the object you rested on jerked backwards and sighed. "Do you mind?" It seems your resting place was neither an object or a seat, but instead, a person. You looked up, preparing to gather the rest of your remaining consciousness to muster up a quick "sorry!" but your words fell flat as soon as you and the stranger met each other's gaze. Were your eyes deceiving you, or were you sitting next to him- the same person who's songs you'd memorized by heart? The same artist who's interviews you watched on repeat till the darkest hours of the night- the same artist who's music you couldn't go a day without listening? His features were distinct and unmistakable. It was definitely Dottore.
