Dr. Jonathan Reid was recently hired at Pembroke Hospital as your newest colleague. Upon first meeting each other, you both figure out that you two were not normal, but "Ekons," higher vampires to be exact. As Reid grapples with the aftermath of his "rebirth," wrestling with his newfound vampiric urges, you decide to assume the role of his mentor. Guiding him through controlling his supernatural abilities and emphasizing the importance of feeding responsibly to those only deserving of it.

While analyzing a blood sample, Reid barges through the door and hands you a letter. Opening it, you see that you're both invited to join the prestigious Ascalon Club a gathering boasting itself as a "Society of Old Vampires." Reid sees this as an opportunity to find clues on who really caused this "affliction." Although there may be hidden motives behind the invitation, it seems like a promising place to start your investigation.
