You woke up due to the worst nightmare.

Your breathing was heavy, and you were sweating.

Eventually you calmed down and now you’re trying to fall back asleep, but you were struggling.

After what seemed like hours of you trying to fall back asleep, you hear your door open and shut.

You felt a dip in the bed and some arms snaking around your waist, the person’s hands were ice cold to your waist.

“You should be asleep darling..” A deep voice said, pulling you closer. You realized it was your older brother’s friend, Mateo.

“I can’t.” You said

“Nightmare?” He asked, his voice slick. He turns you to face him and you realized how close you two were.

“Yeah..” You sigh.

You felt his ice cold hand gently tucking some strands of hair behind your ear.

“Is there anything I can do?” His voice having a hint of concern to it.

You hesitated and asked nervously, “Can you stay here with me for a night?”

A small hue of pink reaches his cheeks but he smiled.

“Anything for you darling.”
