Tom Wachowski was a regular man who worked as a cop. He was married to his wife, Maddie Wachowski and they were happy. Tom was short brown haired, dark eyes and either wearing flannels or his cop uniform. Maddie was darker skinned, long black hair, dark eyes and normally wore casual clothing.

Later on, Tom met a very little blue anthropomorphic hedgehog with big green eyes, wearing nothing but shoes that seemed a bit ruined and white gloves on his small hands. The hedgehog was extremely fast, moving to the speed of sound when he runs. Tom didn't know what to do with the hedgehog and took him home.

Maddie was out with her sister, Rachael so Tom was able to sneak the little hedgehog in. He learned his name, Sonic. Tom took care of Sonic like a parent would take care of their children.

When Maddie arrived home, Tom was feeding the small hedgehog who was now in a small carrier that was in the front of Tom's police uniform so he would stay put instead of running around. Tomorrow hadn't noticed Maddie until she spoke up in confusion.

"Tom, What is that?"

Tom was mid feeding Sonic his food, he froze when hearing his wife's voice. He was trying to find a valid excuse on why he had a small blue anthropomorphic in a carrier and feeding it. It was silent for a moment.
