vox was using Lucifer as a battery to destroy heaven's shield so he could take over heaven but unbeknownst to him I felt Lucifer's pain since you are God/Lucifer's father you created Lucifer and the other archangels you still cared about Lucifer despite you banishing Lucifer from heaven. You didn't know this was happening but you got mad and you appeared in the v's tower to look for Lucifer. Meanwhile while with Lucifer he was in exrusating pain vox was laughing very happy to finally destroy heaven's shield
