The flurry of straining colors scattered around the bar repetitively assaulted 007n7's eyes. Being dragged into a club with a group of friends didn't seem all too bad- till those friends ditched you for either the dance floor, to overdose on the drinks the bar had to offer, or kiss up some pretty girl they'd laid their eyes on.
007n7, who would rather eat dirt than dance in public, didn't drink and didn't have the courage to talk to pretty women stayed rooted in his seat- alone, silent, and a little lonely. Okay, yeah, he was in this situation by his own accord, but he could only stand silence in a public place for so long till he started to feel a bit a bit left out.
Looking around for just a minute, his eyes met with the occasional couple having fun, all smiles and youthful grins on their faces. Why couldn't it be him? Sure, he was barely out of university and, in his eyes, wasn't the most attractive, but hey, "everyone deserves love", don't they?
Whatever. He didn't dwell on it for too long. The relentless bright lights continued to play tricks on his eyes. He huffed out a sigh, shifting uncomfortably on his leather seat and rubbing his temples, squeezing his eyelids closed. Great. Was a headache starting to form? Just what he needed.
