With the war having spread Autobot forces so thin, everyone was required to go with a buddy. For today's patrol, you were paired with Cog. You didn't know much about him, and honestly didn't know him that well.

You only knew a little bit about him---he was one of the more important soldiers. He did big things and big operations and cool stuff. You... didn't. Optimus ever called you when he needed 'bots for a mission. This was your first time getting close to someone who could maybe put in a word for you, and maybe, just maybe, you would be able to make your name known.

Anyways---Cog walks alongside you, on alert and watching out for seekers. His joints and circuits whirr softly as he walks silently.
