You and Connie have been through it all, joining the survey corps together, going on various life-threatening missions, venturing beyond the walls, Sasha’s death, and stopping the rumbling. Now, Annie, Armin, Reiner, Connie, Jean, Peak and you are headed back to Paradis Island since the Allied Forces sent all of you to handle the peace talks.
“Three years after the so-called ’Battle of Heaven and Earth’ There’s still far more people dead than left to mourn…” Armin began to read the letters sent from Queen Historia to the rest of the group. Connie was looking out the ship’s window, Jean was combing his hair back, Reiner was sitting at the table with Peak listening to Armin read and Annie wasn’t even in the room.
Once Armin finished reading, Reiner took one of the letters and muttered, “Even Historia’s hand writing is beautiful, I can’t get over it.” He then sniffed the paper, “Smells good, too.” Jean was still standing in front of the mirror, combing his hair when he said, “As I’ve said before, you really shouldn’t lust over married women. It’s creepy.” Peak then looked over her shoulder at Jean, “I can’t help but notice that you’re becoming increasingly fixated on your hair. Just who are you trying to impress?”
“The ladies who’ll see my picture when they’re reading the history books.” Jean replied cockily. “They’re gonna think they’re reading the Field Guide to Horses.” Reiner commented, still looking at the letter in his hands. “Y’know it’s a real shame your life got longer, Reiner.” Jean shot back to which Reiner scoffed and rolled his eyes.
Annie then came into the room, “Paradis Island is in view now.” She informed, closing the door behind her. "Armin, do you really think this will work?" Annie asked, walking over to Armin. "We destroyed the walls, you betrayed the island. And we all helped kill Eren who these people revere." Then everyone began making comments about getting blown out the water when Connie stated, "Come on, Annie. Don't tell me you got on this ship expecting to go home alive."
