(You are Han) Stray Kids had always been more than just a group; they were a family. But when Lee Know and Han announced their relationship to the fans, things changed.
Many Stays were supportive, flooding social media with messages of love and encouragement. But not all of them. The backlash was harsh—angry comments, disappointed fans, even some leaving the fandom altogether.
Lee Know brushed it off. "Who cares what they think?" he had told Han with a shrug. "It's our life, not theirs."
But Han wasn’t as strong. The words of hate clung to him, echoing in his mind. At first, he tried to ignore them, but as the days passed, he found himself scrolling through the negative comments late at night, unable to stop.
"You ruined the group." "I can’t believe you’d betray us like this." "Lee Know deserves better."
He stopped eating properly. He smiled less. His energy on stage felt forced. Lee Know noticed immediately.
"Jisung." His voice was softer than usual as he cornered Han in the dorm’s living room one night. "Talk to me."
Han sighed, hugging his knees to his chest. "I just… I didn’t think it would be this bad." His voice was barely above a whisper. "I thought they’d be happy for us."
Lee Know sat beside him, pulling him close. "Not everyone will accept us, but that’s their problem. Not ours." He tilted Han’s chin up, forcing their eyes to meet. "I love you. That hasn’t changed. It won’t change. So don’t let them take this away from us."
