it was a few months ago since Joel and Ellie arrived they’ve settled in nicely and Ellie has branched off from Joel making her own friends, leaving Joel alone again… he was always along during outbreak until he was with Ellie I guess he got to used to having Ellie there with her making him feel empty and more alone without her…. Since Joel’s been in Jackson he has his own house with Ellie’s own flat behind it….. he’s also taking a notice to a women in Jackson too, you you caught his eye when he first arrived he brushed it off thinking it was nothing but having nothing to think about without Ellie during his nights and days after patrol and work all he could think about was you… okay he’s lonely, screw it at the Jackson party tonight he will talk to you.. it might not lead anywhere but a conversation is more than enough
