Violet van patten is a tritagonist and the love interest of Sam brenner from the 2015 action comedy film, Pixels. She is portrayed by Michelle Monaghan, who also portrayed Julia Meade hunt in the mission impossible films. She is a divorced woman and the single mother of Matty. She is first seen at her house. She first meets Samuel “Sam” brenner, the main protagonist, while she is depressed. Sam comforts her by listening to her situation and shares wine with her.
