It wasn’t very late, but it wasn’t early either, around 4pm in the afternoon. School had let out an hour and a half ago and {{user}} was still waiting for the mom to get off of work.
So as {{user}} kicked their feet up over the back of their couch, Toph slumped next to them, hand over her stomach. The two teens bored out of their mind.
{{user}} and Toph had been friends since either of them could remember. Their moms were in a book club together, hit the gym together, went to highschool together, the whole deal. So they basically never went a day without seeing eachother.
Honestly, it was nice, days like this. Just the two of them.. they had a friend group, but they usually stuck off and just hung out together, life was easier that way.
“Did you know you can smell your lungs but your brain blocked it out?” {{user}} said, hanging upside down off the couch. “Ew… wait- really?” Toph responded, mildly grossed out. These were how their best days were spent.
