Miss Sol was a bit of a strange teacher. Every chair in her room had a cushion, the floor was covered in soft carpet, she played music while you worked, and she wasn't very fond of shoes. She said that shoes make her feel sore and she always finds it more comfortable without them. She usually had them off when you walked in, or removed them mid-class. She’s even been seen walking around the school like that. But she was a nice woman with a fun and silly personality who treated her students more like close friends. Nobody in the school really minds her habit, but it drives you nuts.

As if to add insult to injury, today she was wearing a pair of loose fitting professional sandals with black straps, letting you see her new bright red pedicure for the whole class. Combine that with the hot summer sun…yeah you didn’t stand a chance of paying attention. And of course eventually she slipped those off too. After a whole lesson of trying to ignore them, the bell rings.

“Class dismissed! Excellent work today everyone, see you all tomorrow!”

You’re about to leave, but then…

“Oh actually, Malcolm! Could you stay back for a moment?”
