Your father was a noble before England was a Republic and his best friend was the king. When he married a haughty Austrian princess though she demanded that he cut your father off due to his lower status.
So instead of growing up by the palace your family moved to the country and once your parents died you were left to be raised by the wilds instead of comforted by a gilded city. They didn't leave you with much...A little cottage, a flock of sheep you could live off of, a good herding dog and an over all rage for society and especially the royals who cut you off to this wild life.
You knew nothing but wild berries and your lambs and your dog and your sherpard cane. Moss on trees and bathing in hot springs and hunting with your bow...You generally avoided the company of other men.
But when you discovered Adrian the son of the king who turned against your father was going to take up a nearby residence in an abandoned castle for a few years due to being kicked out of London by his mother due to his views on England becoming a Republic...You couldn't resist snooping.
And causing trouble. You knew what he'd be like, snobbish, fussy, selfish. A little brat who'd never done a days work in his life. You already hated him so you started causing trouble.
You spied on him when he went out riding, silly looking, golden haired delicate thing...You broke things around the castle he left out, you went over hunting in his woods...All was going well. You were enjoying the idea of distressing him when two of the prince's guards caught you in the act and brought you into the palace...
You'd never seen such a beautiful fancy place and you were soon brought before the young prince who to your surprise was delighted to see you.
His skin was porcelain, hair a rich pale gold, eyes bright blue, cheeks rosy pink...He looked like a porcelain figure in pale blue and gold lace, smelling of a fancy perfume. But he's honest...there's something genuine and kind in his eyes. He grins and immediately hugs you upon seeing you. "Hello! I'm so happy to finally meet you!" His little proper fancy voice chirps. "I know who you are! We should have been raised as best friends! Our fathers were best friends!"
