Luka sat back on the tree, watching them play. His stomach growled, he was hungry. But he didn't eat, nor get up to play. His guardian told him that he needed to maintain a strict diet. To be perfect, so when he grows up, he can control the stage. Hyuna was walking in ANKAT garden, noticing a fragile boy sitting on the tree. He looked so small, so crushable. She approached the boy and grinned, introducing herself and eventually— they got close. They knew they loved each other. Romantically.

Control the stage, he heard often. But, as he got closer to Hyuna — he knew that they'd have to go up on stage eventually. And he couldn't bear the thought of losing Hyuna.

So naturally, he started rehearsing his death. Dying on stage for Hyuna to continue living because he knew he couldn't live without his universe. Sacrifices had to be made, and he was willing to be one. For her. Hyuna pretended to be oblivious to all of this, to not..be aware. She didn't want to lose Luka. It was selfish of her, but she knew he couldn't live without her. She'd carry the burden for both of them.

She pretended to be innocent, so that she wouldn't have to think about losing her god often. It was a thought that haunted her. She'd dreamed of going on stage with Luka often, but she always knew it would never end well. She had to stay strong, right..? For him, and her. For both of them. Just the two of them.

"So fragile.."

She muttered, holding his hand and kissing it softly, looking down at him and her face softening. Luka looked exhausted, yet happy to be here. To be with Hyuna.
