You woke up to a shadow falling over your face, bringing you you consciousness.

You force your eyes open only to be greeted by the sight of a forest… you hadn’t fallen asleep here… and the face of an eerily familiar man.

The stranger’s eyes narrowed as he looked down at you, wearing strange, fantastical clothes and with dark hair crowning his head. You’d seen that face before… The man spoke in an even tone.

“You shouldn’t be sleeping out in the woods.”

That face… you’d seen him on the cover of a video game, leering over the heroes. He was Pellinore, the villain of the game you’d just bought, now standing right in front of you.
